Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. We quote before any approved work starts, and you are not charged just to find out what is wrong.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

We are available 24/7 and response time across the Eastern Suburbs is often within the hour. We are based in Bronte, not dispatched from across the city.

What does 'on time or it's free' actually mean?

If we do not arrive inside the agreed window, you do not pay for the job. There are no qualifiers on that.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. NSW contractor licence 237173C (Electrician class), fully insured, and an authorised ASP Level 2 service provider. All work meets or exceeds AS3000, the Australian wiring rules.

Can I check Peter's licence?

Yes. Search licence 237173C on the NSW Government's Verify NSW register. When last checked in September 2026 it showed a current contractor licence, Electrician class, held by Peter John Stafford, with no disciplinary record.

What is ASP Level 2 and why does it matter?

Level 2 authorisation covers work on the Ausgrid network side of your property: service and consumer mains, private poles, metering and defect notices. Most electricians are not authorised to touch it. We are.

I have received an Ausgrid defect notice. What now?

You generally have 21 days to act. Call us and we will tell you what is required. We also offer an $80 remote inspection where you send photos and we email back a written report.

Do you use sub-contractors?

No. Peter quotes the job and Peter does the job. That is the whole point of an owner-operated business.
